Cacuaco is one of the nine municipalities Municipalities that form the metropolitan area in the Angolan capital, Luanda, in the eponymous province of Luanda.

Cacuaco has an area of ​​571 square kilometers and approximately 613,000 inhabitants ( 2005). The town consists mainly of cottage settlements and was in 2005 in view of world public opinion, as the UN there discovered cases of Marburg virus and made public.

In the north of the city to the Atlantic Ocean bordered by the Bay of Bengo, to the south by Viana and Sambizanga, to the east by Dande in the province of Bengo. By the municipality of Rio Bengo flows in a southerly direction.
