Caecilius of Calacte

Kaikilios (Greek Καικίλιος, Latinized Caecilius; † 1st century BC ) was a Greek orator from the Sicilian town of Kale Act ( Calacte ). According to the Suda, he was a Jew. He is next to Dionysius of Halicarnassus, one of the first representatives of the Atticism in response to the Asianism. His work has been preserved only in fragments.
