Çağla Büyükakçay

Çağla Büyükakçay ( born September 28, 1989 in Adana) is a Turkish tennis player.

Career

Büyükakçay plays mostly ITF tournaments. She stood in a single twelve times in the finals of an ITF tournament and has brought five titles. In doubles, she has twenty denied a final and won twelve times. She was ten times played in the qualification of a Grand Slam tournament, without coming into the main draw. Büyükakçay is the first Turkish tennis player, who played a qualification for a Grand Slam. In April 2004 Büyükakçay occurred in Marsa against Romania for the first time to Turkey in the Fed Cup on. So far, she has played 37 times, 23 times won. She won in 2009 and 2013, the Mediterranean Games in women's tennis.
