Caitlin McClatchey ( born November 28, 1985 in Portsmouth, England) is a British swimmer who specializes in freestyle. She started at the 2004 Summer Olympics in Athens and belonged to the British squad for the 2008 Summer Olympic Games in Beijing.

2004 McClatchey was British champion in the 200 and 400 meter freestyle, 2008 on the 100 meters. On 19 June 2005, she set a new British record for the 400 meter freestyle with 4:07:02 minutes.

Caitlin McClatcheys first major international appearance was the 2004 Summer Olympic Games in Athens. About the 400 meters freestyle she finished there in ninth place, with the 4 × 200 meter freestyle relay she reached the fifth rank. In the swimming world championships in 2005 in Montreal McClatchey won the bronze medal on the 400 -meter freestyle and was with the 200-meter freestyle relay in fourth. In the Short Course World Championships 2008 in Manchester Caitlin McClatchey won two bronze medals over 200 meters freestyle and the 100-meter freestyle relay and silver in the 200-meter freestyle relay.

Caitlin McClatchey took part in the 2006 Commonwealth Games in Melbourne in part and won over 200 and 400 meters freestyle gold. With the 100-meter freestyle relay she became sixth. In the European Swimming Championships in Budapest 2006 McClatchey won bronze on the 400 -meter freestyle. They also reached the 200-meter freestyle relay in fourth, with the 100-meter freestyle relay and the fifth over 200 meters freestyle ninth place. With the 200-meter freestyle relay, she won the European Swimming Championships 2008 in Eindhoven silver, and at the 2009 World Championships in Rome bronze.
