Caius (bishop of Milan)

Gaius of Milan (also: Caius or Gaius; † angebl by 85. ) The legend was after an early bishop of Milan. His historical existence is unsecured.

Gaius said to have been used by Bishop Anathalon in the time of Emperor Nero as his successor in the episcopate. Gaius is then suffered during Nero's persecution of Christians, but they have survived. He should also have the Holy Vitalis and baptized his sons Gervase and Protasius. The successor as bishop of Milan, he had Castricianus determined.

Gaius is venerated as a saint. His feast day is September 27.
