Cajal (crater)

Cajal is a small impact craters in the northern part of the Sea of Tranquility. Its round, bowl -shaped formation is located southeast of the flooded crater of lava Jansen. Also in the north- west is an area of rugged mountain ranges, which is called Dorsa Barlow.
The naming by the International Astronomical Union ( IAU) was held in 1973. Before the renaming it was known as ' Jansen F'.
