The municipality counts to 4.7 km ² 985 (as at 30 June 2011) inhabitants, or 209.7 inhabitants / km ², and is located about 2 kilometers west of the district capital. In the village there is a school, a high school, a church and a Praça, a church and Town Hall Square.
