California Fuel Cell Partnership

The CaFCP project literally stands for California Fuel Cell Partnership "Fuel Partnership California," a collaborative enterprise of public authorities in California (USA), various car manufacturers, the research on fuel cell vehicles, and several other interested parties such as gas station chains and federal agencies of the United States.

The CaFCP was at the suggestion of the Air Resources Board of California (California Air Resources Board ) along with six private company founded in 1999. In 2000 it opened its main office in West Sacramento ( California). Other members followed, and in 2005, the organization had 21 full members and 11 observers (associate members ).

Under the control of the partners 16 stations were equipped with hydrogen Füllanlange ( another 15 are in the planning stage ) 95 fuel cell vehicles with road approvals provided that can be tested in the daily practice on the streets of California and in cooperation with the automobile companies. This is also called press fit CaFCP Road Rally literally " CaFCP road race ".

Currently early 2006 are 46 vehicles in the road running, the CaFCP Road Rally will be continued in 2007.
