Calydon (son of Aetolus)

Calydon (Greek Καλυδών ) is a figure from Greek mythology.

He is the son of Aetolus and Pronoe and founder and namesake of the city of Calydon in Aetolia. His brother Pleuron created the eponymous Aetolian city Pleuron. With Aiolia he had two daughters: Epikaste who later married Agenor, and Protogeneia.
