Campina GmbH

The FrieslandCampina Germany GmbH (formerly Campina GmbH & Co. KG ) is a large milk processing company based in Heilbronn. My parent company is the company Royal FrieslandCampina, which was created on 31 December 2008 by the merger of Friesland Foods and Campina BV and headquartered in Zaltbommel in the Netherlands has. The German branch of the company went public in 1996 from the former Südmilch AG forth.

History

Milk supply Heilbronn GmbH

On 1 July 1924, the milk supply Heilbronn GmbH ( MVH ) was founded in Heilbronn, replacing the existing since 1914 urban dairy Office. Südmilch AG

Campina GmbH

Criticism

The Group was founded in 2005 by environmental organizations criticized that farmers who supply the company with milk to grow, even genetically modified corn. Greenpeace demanded that the company should ensure that the dairy cows of these farmers are not fed with genetically modified maize. Several similar dairies translated already certified feed.
