Camprodon

Camprodon is a place in the Spanish Pyrenees. It is located in the homonymous valley on the River Ter in the Comarca Ripollès in Catalonia and is located about 75 kilometers northeast of Girona and 10 kilometers south of the border to France. Landmark of the city is the Pont nou (' New Bridge ').

The municipality has 2466 inhabitants (as of 1 January 2013). A significant economic role of tourism. Camprodon is the starting point for several tourist destinations such as significant Setcases ( Vallter -2000). The cookies GALETES Birba from the factory GALETES Camprodon apply throughout Spain as a delicacy.
