Canadian Expeditionary Force Command

The Canadian Expeditionary Force Command ( CEFCOM ) or Commandement de la Force expéditionnaire du Canada ( COMFEC ) (Eng. " Forces Command for operations abroad " ) is a partially contending force -wide high command, which performs all operations abroad, except those of the Canadian Special Operations Forces Command, the Canadian military.

Order

Similar to the Canada Command (Canada COM) is responsible for all military operations in North America, the CEFCOM is the supreme command for operations abroad. It integrates the individual branches of the armed forces and lead them in use. In addition to his military order and peace-building measures, the CEFCOM is also responsible for infrastructural and humanitarian assistance from the state Canada abroad. This happens regularly in coordination with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

In addition to the operational planning and conduct of operations, the CEFCOM is responsible for training, deployment, and equipment, under his associations and their interoperability abroad, both technical and human resources.

Organization

The headquarters of the CEFCOM is located in Ottawa.
