Candido Jacuzzi

Candido Jacuzzi ( born February 24, 1903 in Casarsa della Delizia, † October 7, 1986 in Scottsdale, Arizona ) was an Italian entrepreneur and inventor.

Life

Jacuzzi was born in Italy. He emigrated to the United States, where he married and had four children. Rheumatoid arthritis, Candido Jacuzzi son Kenneth was suffering from, Candido Jacuzzi brought to dedicate itself from the 1940s to the development of pumps in the field of hydrotherapy. This led in 1956 to the first hydrotherapy pump for medical purposes. He invented the Jacuzzi and founded his own company. In 1975, he suffered a heart attack, from which he recovered only with difficulty.
