Canton of Beaune-la-Rolande
The Canton of Beaune- la -Rolande is a French administrative unit in the arrondissement of Pithiviers, in the Loiret and in the Centre region; its chief town is Beaune- la -Rolande.
The Canton of Beaune- la -Rolande is 22,484 acres ( 224.84 km ²) in size and has (2005) 9777 inhabitants, which corresponds to a population density of 43 inhabitants per km ².
The Canton of Beaune- la -Rolande belonged from 1800 to 1926 for Arrondissement Pithiviers. The local government reform of 1926 knocked him to the arrondissement of Montargis. The new reform of 1942 did change it back.
