Canton of Lorris

The Canton of Lorris is a French administrative unit in the arrondissement of Montargis, in the Loiret and in the Centre region; its chief town is Lorris. His representative in the Regional Council for the years 2004-2010 is Guy Parmentier.

Geography

The canton is located in the center of the department of Loiret. To the west it borders the Canton of Châteauneuf -sur -Loire, on the northwest by the Canton of Bellegarde, in the north- east to the Canton Amilly, on the east by the Canton of Châtillon- Coligny, on the south by the Canton of Gien and on the southwest by the Canton Ouzouer- sur -Loire. Its territory lies between 92 m and 175 m in Presnoy in Montereau above sea level.
