The canton of Cloyes -sur -le- Loir is 26,449 acres ( 264.49 km ²) in size and has (1999), 9284 inhabitants, which corresponds to a population density of 35 inhabitants per km ². He is on average 146 meters above sea level, between 91 meters in Romilly -sur- Aigre and 220 meters in Arrou.
