Cloyes-sur-le-Loir

Cloyes -sur -le- Loir is a French municipality with 2738 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2011 ) in the department of Eure- et- Loir in the Centre region; it belongs to the district Châteaudun and is capital of the canton Cloyes -sur -le- Loir.

Geography

Cloyes -sur -le- Loir is located 11 km south of Châteaudun near the border with the department of Loir -et- Cher.

History

In Cloyes -sur -le- Loir of Stephan led from Cloyes Children's Crusade began.
