Canton of Valence

The Canton Valence is a French administrative unit in the district Castelsarrasin, in the Tarn- et- Garonne, in the Midi-Pyrénées region. The capital is the city of Valence. Representatives of the General Council of the department since 1985, Jean -Michel Baylet (PRG).

Name of the Canton

The official name of the canton is in accordance with the Institute's National Geographical location Valence. Same time the name Canton de Valence- d'Agen is in use.
