Valence (Tarn-et-Garonne)

Valence ( Valence d' Agen sometimes called ) is a commune with 5143 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2011 ) in the department of Tarn -et- Garonne in the Midi-Pyrénées region; it is in the arrondissement Castelsarrasin and is the capital of the canton of Valence.

Geography

In the north of the village of Little River Barguelonne runs. South of the town is bounded by the Garonne. Immediately through the village also extends the Lateral Canal à la Garonne ( German: Canal de Garonne ). The village is located about 39 km west- northwest of Montauban.
