The builder Amadeo has a facade with an immense wealth of forms covered, although - as seen for themselves - a thing of the Renaissance, in the wealth but are more in the Gothic style, but even that is limited.

The façade wall itself is made of white, black and red marble stones in diamond shape composed (including Veronese marble ). The tradition of the Lombard plait is reflected on the vertical ribbons on the outer edges. The whole thing is a special form of Lombardy, a late consequence of Germanic ornamentation.

The facade consists of inlays and decorations made of colored marble, enriched with sculptural elements. Inside the tomb is situated in a square plan Gothic typology, reinterpreted in the Renaissance style. Next to it is the grave of Bartolomeo 's daughter, Medea Colleoni († 1470 ).
