Cardal is a village in Uruguay.

Geography

Cardal is located on the territory of the department of Florida in the sector 13 The place is located in the southwestern tip of the department, near the northwest trending, formed by the Arroyo de la Virgen border to Nachbardepartamento San Jose. The south location field is called Cuchilla del Pintado. There you will also find the places Independencia and 25 de Agosto. Nearest settlement in the north is 25 de Mayo, while located in the east or east-northeast Mendoza and Mendoza Chico. South or north of Cardal arise with the Pantanosa and the Gallinetas two left-side tributaries of the Arroyo de la Virgen.

Infrastructure

Through the village run the Ruta 77 and the railway line Montevideo - Paso de los Toros.

Population

The population Cardals is 1,202 (as of 2011), of which 559 male and 643 female.
