Carency
Carency is a commune with 705 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2011 ) in the Pas -de- Calais, in the Nord -Pas -de- Calais; it belongs to the district of the canton of Arras and Vimy. The place belongs to the Communauté d' agglomération de Lens - Liévin, which consists of 36 municipalities with a total population of 250,000.
History
The rule Carency was given in the 14th century a younger branch of the house of Bourbon, which soon after her "Prince de Carency " Prince of Carency, called.
