Carl Nordin

Carl Nordin ( born December 23, 1989 in Örnsköldsvik ) is a Swedish ski jumper.

Nordin began his international career in 2004 in the Ski Jumping Continental Cup. At the Junior World Cup in 2006 in Kranj he placed ninth with the team. Two years later he was able to achieve at the Ski Flying World Championships 2008 in Oberstdorf, together with Isak Grimholm, Johan Eriksson and Andreas Arén the team flies to eleventh place. Shortly thereafter, he gave the team flying in Planica on 15 March 2008 his debut in the World Cup Ski Jumping. He placed ninth with the team. At the Swedish Championships 2009 in his native Örnsköldsvik he won gold with the team and individual silver. In September 2009 he started again at Swedish Championships, which were considered to be Swedish Championships in 2010, and again won gold with the team and individual silver. At the Swedish Championships 2011, he won on March 13, 2011 in Sollefteå with the team gold as well as in the individual ranking behind title winner Fredrik Balkåsen the silver medal. On February 5, 2012, he reached in Örnsköldsvik for the fourth time in a row silver at the Swedish Championships in the individual normal hill and the gold with the team as well as on the large hill. In 2013 he reached the 44th place at the Nordic World Ski Championships in Val di Fiemme his best finish at the World Championships.

Carl Nordin is the younger brother of Jonas Nordin, which until 2006 was also active as a ski jumper in the Continental Cup.
