Carl Radle

Carl Dean Radle ( born June 18, 1942 in Tulsa, Oklahoma; † 30 May 1980) was an American bass player and long-time musicians from Eric Clapton, who with some of the most successful artists of the 1960s and 1970s, on the stage and in the studio has worked.

Life

Radle is known for his long association with Eric Clapton, starting in 1969 with Delaney and Bonnie and Friends and 1970 with Derek and the Dominos. He was involved in the episode at all Clapton's solo albums until 1979 and was 1974-1979, Dick Sims and Jamie Oldaker one of the tribe members whose live band. During this time Radle was not only bassist, but was also occasionally worked as an arranger (including Motherless Children). On No Reason to Cry, he is named as a co-producer.

Through Clapton came about his participation in George Harrison's Concert for Bangladesh. In addition to collaborating with Clapton Radle on recordings by Dave Mason, JJ Cale, George Harrison, Joe Cocker, and Buddy Guy.

Radle died in 1980 at the age of 37 years from a kidney infection.
