Carlo Bagno

Carlo Bagno ( born March 21, 1920 in Lendinara, † June 19, 1990 in Milan ) was an Italian actor.

Life

After visiting the " Accademia d' Arte Drammatica " graduated Bagno there in the season 1940/41. After the Second World War, he got orders first with the radio, for which he spoke several comedies, and then devoted himself to the theater where he played alongside Sergio Tofano and then at the " Piccolo di Milano ". Under Giorgio Strehler, he appeared in numerous old and new classics. After further positions he played on "Stable di Trieste " and from 1962 for five years in Turin, before he returned to Trieste. The burly and robust Bagno, often embodied rough but good-natured characters, stepped 1955-1987 repeatedly in the film. For television, his contribution in The Crazy Chaillot in 1961 was outstanding.

Bagno in 1978 received a Nastro d' Argento for Best Supporting Actor.
