Carlos Alberto Etcheverry

Alberto Etcheverry ( born June 29, 1933, Buenos Aires ), also known by his nickname "Tito", is a former Argentine football player at the position of the striker, who then acted on the end of his active career as a player-coach and as a coach.

Life

Born in Argentina, first played for the CA Boca Juniors with whom he won the 1954 Argentine Championship, and then the CA Chacarita Juniors before he was hired by the Mexican first division club Leon. He then moved just to its archrival Irapuato. A lasting name Etcheverry created in Mexico by winning the top scorer in season 1963/64. For by these he was also the first player in the series in 1962 in the Primera División Ascended UNAM Pumas, which was bestowed this award. Within the Mexican capital, he moved then to Atlante, before 1966 for several years twisted him into the north of the country, where he initially from 1966 to 1969 as player-manager of the Jabatos de Nuevo León and then in seasons México 1970 and 1970/71 the big neighbor CF Monterrey, as a coach under contract.

Later Etcheverry worked as a coach at youth level his Exvereins UNAM Pumas before he was settled in Leon, where the board of his Exvereins Club León he works today.
