Carlos Bernard
Carlos Bernard Papierski ( born October 12, 1962 in Evanston, Illinois ) is an American actor.
Career
Carlos Bernard, was born in Evanston, Illinois, the youngest of three brothers. His mother is a native Spaniard from Madrid and his father is of Polish origin. He grew up in Chicago and was already during his high school years interest in acting. After studying at Illinois State University, he attended the American Conservatory Theater in San Francisco and completed training as an actor.
Before stepping into the role of Tony Almeida had his breakthrough with the series 24, he played primarily at the theater in Chicago, including Hamlet. He also had supporting roles in film and television, including The Killing Jar (1996 ), Sunset Beach (1997), Men In White ( 1998) Babylon 5: Brothers in Arms (1999), Mars and Beyond (2000), The Colonel's Last Flight ( 2000), Vegas, City of Dreams (2001) and Alien Raiders ( 2008).
Bernard married in 1999 his fellow actress Sharisse Baker. In 2003, the couple had a daughter.
