Carlos Castaño Panadero

Carlos Castaño Panadero ( born May 7, 1979 in Madrid ) is a Spanish track and road racing cyclist.

Carlos Castaño won on the track in 2004 at the World Championships and at the Olympic Games in Athens bronze medals in the team pursuit. He drove both times together with Sergio Escobar, Carlos Torrent Asier Maeztu. In 2005 he moved to the road. He signed with the Continental team Andalucía -Paul Versan. He won two stages of the Tour of Burgos and drove the first three days in the leader's jersey. Since 2006, Castaño riding for the Spanish Professional Continental team Kaiku. In the Tour of Catalonia, he celebrated his biggest success to date. He won the fourth stage and went two days in the leader's jersey.

End of the 2010 season, he will finish his career as a professional cyclist.
