Carlos Curbelo

Carlos Curbelo ( born April 28, 1954 in San José de Mayo, Uruguay ) is a former French- Uruguayan footballer.

Association

The father of Gaston Curbelo began his career in his native country at Cerro and moved from there in 1972 to France to Nancy, where the gambling on the position of Libero Curbelo with disastrous appearance in 1975 Master of the D 2 and the 1978 Coupe de France won. He remained there until 1980, to then play another eight years at OGC Nice. With Nice in 1985 he was vice-champion of the second division.

National

The defender was a member of the French national team, for which he completed two international matches in 1976, where he could not score a goal.

A trainer

Curbelo, who again settled down after his active career at least in the years 1989 and 2008 Uruguay and worked there as a scout for French clubs, supervised from 1990 to 1991 the Uruguayan club Bella Vista as an assistant coach.
