Carmen Small ( born April 22, 1980 in Durango ) is an American cyclist.

From child to Carmen Small was very athletic and was active in many sports, including cross country, basketball, volleyball and athletics. Volleyball, she played in her school - like in their college and university team and began to deny triathlons .. She completed a degree in mathematics from Colorado State University.

As of 2006, Small turned to cycling. The following year she won at the U.S. road championships twelfth place. In 2012 she was third in the national road championship.

2013 was Carmen Small U.S. champion in the time trial and won the Canadian Grand Prix Cycliste de Gatineau race. When Chrono Champenois - Trophée Européen she finished second behind her teammate Ellen van Dijk from the Netherlands. In the Pan-American Championships, she won silver in the time trial. In September 2013, it was with her team (Lisa Brennauer, Katie Colclough, Evelyn Stevens, Ellen van Dijk and Trixi Worrack ) of Specialized lululemon at the UCI Road World Championships 2013 in Florence World Champion in the team time trial.
