Evelyn Stevens

Evelyn Stevens ( born May 9, 1983 in Claremont ) is an American cyclist.

Evelyn Stevens completed a bachelor's degree in political science and gender studies. From 2005 to 2007 she worked as Investbankerin at Lehman Brothers in New York until 2009 with an investment fund. Only in 2007 they came out with the cycling in touch when she took part in amateur races in Central Park and several won. In 2009 U.S. Vice - Champion was in the time trial. In 2010, she received her first contract as a professional cyclist.

2010 and 2011 Stevens won the national title in the time trial. In 2009 she won the Fitchburg Longsjo Classic and the Cascade Classic. In the same year she was also second in the Route de France féminine. In 2010 she decided the Chrono Gatineau, an individual time trial in Canada for themselves.

2010 Stevens occupied at the Road World Championships in sixth place in the individual time trial. At the Pan American Championships in 2011 she won the silver medal in her specialty discipline. In 2012 she won La Flèche Wallonne and finished the Giro d' Italia Femminile third in the overall standings. At the Olympic Games in London in 2012 it ranked 24
