Background

The Actress Carmencita was a professional belly dancer and the first woman who was standing in front of a film camera.

Filmed in the U.S. state of New Jersey film was made in six days of the " Edison Manufacturing Company ." It was intended that the film in special viewing devices, so-called Kinetoskopen, was used. This device was developed by Thomas Edison. These headphones were served, from which came asynchronous music.
