Carole Quinton

Carole Quinton ( born July 11, 1936) is a former British athlete, who in 1960 won an Olympic silver medal.

In 1958 she won the British Championships in the 80 - meter hurdles. In the British Empire and Commonwealth Games in 1958 in Cardiff, she won the silver medal between the Australians Norma Thrower ( gold) and Gloria Wigney (bronze).

With the Summer Olympic Games in Rome in 1960, she won in 80 - meter hurdles silver medal behind Irina Press ( USSR ) and before the German Gisela Meyer birch (bronze).
