Caroline von Holnstein

Caroline of Holnstein, born Baroness von Spiering ( born May 8, 1815 in Fronberg / Schwandorf, † July 24, 1859 in Fronberg / Schwandorf ) was a Bavarian nobleman. Her portrait is one of the most famous of the 36 portrait paintings of beauty gallery of King Ludwig I in the Nymphenburg Palace.

Life

Caroline Maximiliana Maria Baroness von Spiering was born on 8 May 1815 Fronberg castle. She was the fifth child of Carl Theodor Freiherr von Spiering and his wife Johanna Nepumukena born Baroness von Enzberg.
