Carpaneto Piacentino

Carpaneto Piacentino is a northern Italian municipality ( comune ) with 7598 inhabitants ( 31 December 2012) in the province of Piacenza in Emilia -Romagna. The community is located about 17 kilometers southeast of Piacenza between the rivers Nure and Arda.

History

The church is first mentioned 815 as a settlement of the Lombards. 1216 Castell was built in the district of Zena. More fortifications ( the Castello di Badagnano and the Castello di Olmeto ) are located in the district Badagnano.
