Casey Hampton, Jr. ( born September 3, 1977 in Galveston, Texas) is an American professional American football player at the position of the nose tackles. He he plays for the Pittsburgh Steelers in the National Football League ( NFL).

College

Hampton attended the University of Texas. He scored 329 tackles and caused nine fumbles. In addition, he was appointed in 2000 to the College Football All-America Team.

NFL

2001 Hampton was selected by the Pittsburgh Steelers in the NFL Draft. With the Steelers Hampton was able to win both the Super Bowl XL and Super Bowl XLIII. He was also elected to the Pro Bowl five times.
