Company History
1946, the predecessor company Kashio Seisakujo was (樫 尾 制作 所, dt " Kashio - work" ) founded in Tokyo by the four brothers Kashio. In order to operate International, was established on 1 June 1957, the current Casio Computer Co., Ltd.. In the same year the series began production of calculators. From 1965 onwards, electronic desktop calculator was produced with memory. In 1974, his first Casio digital watch CASIOTRON with ten additional functions to the market. In 1984, Casio out his first synthesizer, the CZ -101, and 1995 digital cameras are sold. In 1996 the company presented its first PDA with Microsoft Windows CE under the name Casio Cassiopeia.

Scientific Calculator
An early programmable calculator FX -201P was, which was produced in 1976. Programmable were jump commands, loops, subroutines. 1 / X and the root were calculated at 10, the other functions to 8 digits.
