Cassina S.p.A.
The Cassina SpA is an Italian furniture manufacturer based in Milan, part of the Poltrona Frau Group.
It offered two collections (2006):
- Cassina I Maestri
- Cassina I Contemporanei
In the former collection are designs that were created by designers of functionalism. For the designers, it concerns:
- Le Corbusier,
- Gerrit T. Rietveld,
- Charles R. Mackintosh,
- Erik Gunnar Asplund,
- Frank Lloyd Wright,
- Charlotte Perriand.
Cassina holds the exclusive rights for the reproduction of furniture design called designer.
In the collection " Cassina I Contempornei " is, as the name suggests, to contemporary furniture. Behind it, inter alia, following designers:
- Philippe Starck,
- Hannes Wettstein,
- Mario Bellini
- Piero Lissoni
- And more.
