Catamantaloedes
Catamantaloedes was a king of the Gallic people of the Sequani. He is only known from a passage of Gaius Julius Caesar representation of the Gallic War.
According to Caesar Catamanataloedes had for many years the rule (Latin regnum ) held on the Sequani and was recognized as a " friend of the Roman people " by the Roman Senate. He must already have been dead when his son Casticus to have tried about 60/ 59 BC, to take over his father's former position.
