Life

Catherine -Henriette was the daughter of Martin Belliers. She married the Comte Pierre de Beauvais († 1685). She was the first lady's maid and confidant of the French queen, Anne of Austria.

Madame de Beauvais was no beauty, but she led on behalf of the Queen Mother whose son, Louis XIV, in the love of a ( 1657). She seems to have done it with success, as well as much later it was received again by the Sun King, and got from him a pension of 2000 livres paid.
