Cecenówko

Cecenówko ( German New Zezenow, Kashubian Nowe Cecenowò ) is a very small Kashubian place in the northwest of the Polish Pomeranian Voivodeship. He belongs to the mayor's office Cecenowo ( Zezenow ) in the rural community Główczyce ( Glowitz ) in the powiat Słupski ( Stolp ).

Cecenówko located one kilometer southeast of the province road 213 at Cecenowo. The nearest train station is Wrzeście ( Freest ) on the railway line from Lębork ( Lauenburg in Pommern ) to Leba ( Leba ).

Cecenówko was before 1945 a town in the municipality Zezenow in official and civil registry district Zezenow and belonged to the district of Stolp in Pomerania Region of the Prussian province of Pomerania. Consequently, the place with the history of the community is intimately linked to.

After 1945 New Zezenow came as Cecenówko to Poland and is now part of Gmina Główczyce in powiat Słupski in the Pomeranian Voivodeship. The connection to Cecenow remains because Cecenówko is incorporated into the mayor's office.

Church- owned New Zezenow the evangelical parish Zezenow before 1945 in the church Stolp - old part of the ecclesiastical province of the Church of the Old Prussian Pomerania Union.

After 1945 Cecenówko came to the Catholic parish Cecenowo, which is incorporated in the deanery in the Diocese of Leba Pelplin of the Catholic Church in Poland. Here surviving Protestant church members are assigned to the Kirchdorf Główczyce ( Glowitz ), the Filialkirchort the Cross parish in Slupsk ( Stolp ) in the Diocese of Pomerania - Greater Poland the Evangelical-Augsburg Church in Poland.
