Celso Esquivel ( born March 20, 1981 in General Artigas ) is a Paraguayan football player. Since 2008 he is a defensive player in the Argentine second division CA Talleres under contract.
Esquvel made his debut in the Primera División as a 18 -year-old in June 1999 in the jersey of San Lorenzo. For this team he played for seven years before he moved to league rivals Racing Club Avellaneda in the summer of 2006. In 2007, he played for again for San Lorenzo, before moving in early 2008 to his native country to Sportivo Luqueño. In mid-2008 he returned to Argentina and plays since for CA Talleres Cordoba from.
The greatest success of his career, he celebrated at the 2004 Summer Olympics in Athens, when he reached the second place in the Olympic football tournament along with the Paraguayan Olympic Team.
