Centrum LIM

The Centrum LIM (also: LIM Centre) is one of the highest and the first modern high-rise buildings in Warsaw. The construction of the building at the busy intersection of routes Aleja Jana Paweł II (or Ulica Tytusa Chałubińskiego ) and Jerozolimskie Avenue in the financial district of central Warsaw district has the official address Jerozolimskie Avenue 65/79. Building

Architect of the skyscraper were Jerzy Skrzypczak, Andrzej and Krzysztof Bielobradek Stefański. General contractor was the Ilbau. Construction began in 1980, the opening took place in 1989. The building has 42 floors, which include a floor in the middle and the top (both black clad ) technical functions. The tower is glazed dark green and is illuminated at night. Its height is 140 meters, with the antenna it reaches 170 meters. He protrudes from a three-story, low-rise building surrounding it, on its ground floor offers a shopping and service center is located. In 1998, the Ilbau sold its stake in the company to the German SGS GmbH.

Tenants of the office floors include Bertelsmann Media, Crowley Data, GTS Energis, International Paper, Merrill Lynch, NFI Magna Polonia and Prokom Investments.

From 1994 to 1996, the Maloka BBS was housed in a basement.

On 14 June 1998, the French climber Alain Robert climbed the free building on the facade within 17 minutes. Robert was taken on the roof of the house security personnel into custody and brought one back later dropped charges against him. The climb repeated in the following year, the Polish climber David Kaszlikowski. On 22 April 2009 they were followed by Bartholomew Opiela.

Hotel Marriott

The lower floors and the ground floor of the tower are partially, mostly used the two upper floors of the low-rise building from the Marriott Hotel. Here are the reception, lobby, Hotel Cafe, as well as several restaurants, some prepare the Kosher food. Also here, the available conference or meeting space can be divided in up to 19 rooms. The guest rooms spread over 20 floors in the upper half of the building. Of the 518 rooms 96 are suites. The presidential suite is decorated on the top floor of the hotel. All rooms have air conditioning and satellite connection. The hotel guests can reach the street level of the hotel lobby, the high-lying rooms with private elevators and so do not notice the intervening office complex.

The top two floors of the building is the " LIM Panorama Club ", which is among the highest public vantage points of Warsaw.
