Champaner-Pavagadh Archaeological Park

The Champaner - Pavagadh Archaeological Park is a since 2004 classified by UNESCO as a World Heritage archaeological park in the district of Panchmahal in Gujarat State in India.

It is a largely unexcavated early Hindu city. Besides remains of the former capital of Gujarat from the 16th century, includes a hill fortress of an early Hindu capital, and fortifications, religious buildings, palaces and buildings dating from the 8th to 14th centuries. Also located on the hill Pavadagh Kalikamata temple belongs to the complex of the park.
