Chances is the debut album by the Belgian dance formation Sylver, consisting of the songwriters and producers Wout van Dessel and regions Penxten, as well as singer and face of the band Silvy de Bie. The album was recorded shortly after the debut single, " Turn the Tide " published on 7 May 2001 in Germany, published in Belgium single and album already months ago.
After a total of 49 weeks in the German Album Top 100, the album was certified gold for 200,000 copies sold, as well as the single " Turn the Tide " for a total of 500,000 copies sold.
Emergence and success
Singer Silvy de Bie came to the project by Wout van Dessel in 2000. The single " Turn the Tide " was released in Belgium still under the band name Liquid feat. Silvy and climbed straight away ( on July 1, 2000) Rank 1 of the Belgian singles chart. In Germany Selbiger song then appeared in March 2001 under the name Sylver.
