Channel surfing

Zapping [ zæpɪŋ ] is a term from the old Wild West days when " shot down " the opponent ( zapped ) was.

The word has now found its way into everyday language:

  • TV viewers zap ( switch ) in rapid succession through the channels.
  • Companies are zapped by their customers through short resolute change of business.
  • In English, the word describes zapping the generation of an arc -like noise or annoying, flashing websites.

The TV Zapper differs in three categories:

  • The zapper uses the advertising sections to wander through other programs and then switch back to the original program.
  • The Graz seeks to ' by the programs grazing " the funniest or most exciting highlights from the program.
