Charles Hodge

Charles Hodge (* December 27, 1797 in Philadelphia, † June 19, 1878 in Princeton ) was an American theologian of the Presbyterian Church.

Life

After his stay at Princeton University until 1815 Hodge graduated in 1819 from the Princeton Theological Seminary. In 1820 he joined the Princeton Theological Seminary in as a teacher and was ordained in the same year as pastor of the Presbyterian church.
