Charlotte of Valois

Charlotte of France ( born October 23, 1516 Amboise Castle, † September 18, 1524 at Castle Saint- Germain -en- Laye ) was a native of the House of Valois Princess of France. She was the second child and second daughter of the French king Francis I and his first wife Claudia of France and thus an older sister of King Henry II

Origin and family

Charlotte was born on October 23, 1516 in the castle of Amboise castle to the world. Her mother Claudia was a daughter of King Louis XII. of France and his second wife, Anne de Bretagne.
