Charlotte Susa

Charlotte Susa (* March 1, 1898 in Memel, † July 28, 1976 in Basel) was a German actress.

Career

The native Charlotta Wegmüller received after attending school in Tilsit singing lessons in Mannheim. In 1915 she was at Tilsit in a performance of Mozart's Magic Flute made ​​her stage debut. She chose a stage name " Susa ", the maiden name of her mother Olga, a native Italian who led a corset shop in Memel. As a singer and actress, she appeared in various opera and operetta productions in Brandenburg, Essen, Dusseldorf, Hamburg and Cologne.
