Charoen Pokphand Foods Public Company Limited ( Thai: บริษัท เจริญ โภคภัณฑ์ อาหาร จำกัด ( มหาชน ) ) is Thailand's largest companies in the agricultural industry. It is part of the Charoen Pokphand Group of companies. The company is listed on the Thai stock exchange in the SET Index ( SET: CPF).
Survey
CPF is the most important companies in the Thai agricultural industry itself a large corporation, the greater part operates in Thailand itself, while others are working abroad. Core business of CPF are animal husbandry and aquaculture. These include chicken farms for meat and egg production, duck farms and pig farms. The main areas of aquaculture form saltwater fish and shrimp.
In addition to the livestock CPF also dominates the market with feed in Thailand. It also focuses on the creation of appropriate brand products as well as value-added processes in food down.

Livestock
The shops in animal husbandry are fully integrated and include chicken, hens, ducks and pigs, apply their products in three categories: (1 ) feed ( 2) Animal Breeding and ( 3) Meat and animal products.
Feed
The production of animal feed includes concentrates, powders and pellets for chickens, laying hens, ducks and pigs. The feeds are sold in Thailand for about 600 Trade Representative. In addition, part of the feed is also sold directly to large livestock farms in the country.
For the feed using corn, soybean meal and broken rice with help of computer- controlled manufacturing processes in order to guarantee a consistent quality. Random sample of the raw materials and the products produced are tested.
Animal husbandry
The aim of the activities in the field of animal breeding is to generate high-quality, disease-resistant breeding animals that can thrive in the tropical monsoonal climate of the country. These are either delivered directly to the contractors or sold through the Trade Representative.
Meat products
CPF sold animals to meat producing companies and manufactures even well -to-eat meat products enabled. To improve the quality of the processes in the tropical climate of the state research and development is carried out. This, the company's businesses use a system for control and prevention of animal diseases, which ultimately leads to a more rapid growth of the animals, a higher survival rate and cost reduction.

Criticism
Greenpeace criticized the company for the destruction of mangrove forests, the mass of keeping fish, the use of chemicals and environmentally harmful disposal of waste water.
